The Westside Shopping Extravaganza started as an idea from a few small business owners who wanted to bring their favorite local shops together under one roof during the slower summer retail season.
What began as a way to create excitement, support one another, and boost small business sales has grown into an event our community looks forward to year after year!
Join us Sunday, August 16, 2026, for one day only with 40+ small businesses bringing the best of the best.
VIP Shopping: 11 AM–1 PM | $20
Includes a shopping tote, complimentary glass of champagne, $10 vendor bucks, and 2 hours of private shopping with first dibs on all the goodies.
General Admission: 1–4 PM | $5 in advance or $10 at the door
Enjoy exciting prizes while you shop with the amazing small businesses!
We’ll also have A Hint of Lime taco truck and Nutrition West popped up outside, plus Walk-On’s Bar serving your favorite beverages inside. And don’t leave early — we’ll be raffling off a grand prize worth over $1,000 at the end of the event.
Best of all, proceeds from the event benefit two local scholarship recipients each year—one graduating senior from Port Allen High School and one graduating senior from Brusly High School—making your day of shopping an investment in the future of our community.

Westside Shopping Extravaganza 2024
The West Baton Rouge Small Business Council is proud to be hosting the Westside Shopping Extravaganza on SUNDAY, AUGUST 18, 2024, at the Addis Community Center, 7520 LA-1, Addis, LA from 11:00 until 4 p.m.
The day is full of shopping, entertainment and features more than 30 local shops, boutiques and artists.
11:00-1:00: VIP Early Access Shopping
1:00 - 4:00: General Admission
*no strollers
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $20 while supplies last and must be purchased in advance. The VIP shopping experience includes exclusive early access from 11 am until 1 pm, champagne and the ultimate swag bag with goodies provided by multiple business.
General Admission tickets are $5 in advance or can be purchased at the door the day of for $10. General Admission is from 1:00-4:00.

To become a vendor, fill out this form. Please note that there is limited space in the Addis Community Center. Our hope is to ensure the vendors all offer a variety / different elements and there aren't too many of one thing at the event.
After Party Live Music Celebrating Small Business Saturday
Join the West Baton Rouge Small Business Council in celebrating small businesses in our community. As a wrap-up to our Small Business Saturday shopping event, join us at the Port Allen Community Center for an after party! There will be live music, food and drinks, pop-up vendors and entertainment for children.
